Panta ta ethnē is Greek for "all the peoples". It comes from Matthew 28:19 (most commonly referred to as The Great Commission) where the word ethnē is translated "nations". The word can also mean "tribe", "people group", or "gentiles".
We believe that God is calling us to preach the gospel where Christ has not already been named (Romans 15:20-21). Our goal is to be pioneer church planting missionaries in Papua New Guinea. Our prayer is that God would use us to make disciples of all the peoples as we proclaim the gospel among people groups who have had no previous access to the gospel. (We have been accepted to The Center for Pioneer Church Planting at To Every Tribes Ministries and are planning to attend in the fall of 2010. We are currently raising support for our ministry and if you would like to support us financially click here and select "MELTON, Robbie and Jess" from the drop down menu titled "Gift Designation").
The main purpose of this blog is to bring glory to God through the medium of written word. Whether it be personal testimonies/stories, devotional thoughts, or articles our purpose is to bring glory to God.
The secondary purpose of this blog is to keep in close contact with everyone as we begin this life-long journey of reaching the unreached for the glory of God. Whether you are praying for us as we begin the training process, supporting us financially, or if you don’t even know us and you just stumbled across this site we want to take you on this journey with us. We hope that you will find this helpful, edifying, challenging, convicting and informative. Thanks for joining us! Let the journey begin!
Glory to God,
Robbie and Jess
