“How Do I Respond to All the Suffering?” :: Introduction

There is no mistaking that there is persecution of Christians all around the world. Currently (as of 2010) an estimated 100 million Christians face persecution in 51 different countries around the world (All the highlighted countries shown in the picture above are countries where persecution of Christians takes place). Take a look at this video of an actual church being raided by government officials in Vietnam.




We here in the U.S. and other countries around the world who do not face this persecution cannot ignore this fact. Our brothers and sisters around the world are suffering for their faith and devotion to Jesus. However, often times it seems as though we don’t know how to respond to all the suffering. Through this series I am going to give you three appropriate responses to the suffering and persecution all around the world.

1. Our response to this persecution is to SUFFER
2. Our response to this persecution is to PRAY
3. Our response to this persecution is to REJOICE
